RSPCA calls for end to ‘puppy factories’

‘Farmer’ Dave Graham (pictured) was on hand to help launch the RSPCA’s latest campaign to relieve the suffering of animals.
According to the RSPCA, Australians are inadvertently supporting the cruel puppy factory trade by purchasing their animals from pet stores or through online and newspaper advertising.

David Graham “Farmer Dave” from Big Brother and Dancing with the Stars fame and the ABC “Australian Story” spent the day at MNK9 filming for a future episode.It was an great pleasure to meet David he is a real gentleman and a very talented dog trainer with extensive dog training knowledge.
David is an ambassador for both the RSPCA and Animal Welfare League and has spent over 20 years training working dogs in the outback.It was a big day with David covering Search and Rescue dogs, Narcotic detection, Explosive detection and Security Patrol dogs.

After four years of being part of Big Brother 2006, where he came out to millions of people, the life of Farmer Dave doesn’t stop challenging him. He worked hard to become a successful businessman with his free range lamb business, he turned 30 and isolated himself at Cape York, moved to Sydney to work with dogs and has become the ambassador of RSPCA. What is really remarkable in David’s life is his “passion for raising awareness of issues facing those without a voice”.
